Has CVS pharmacy changed for the worse?

For nearly 20 year I have shopped at my local Sav-On drugstore a block from my house. CVS bought out Sav-On two years ago. The CVS store near my house has really gone down hill. Even though the store has been renovated their product selection has changed. Many of the name brand prodcuts have been replaced with CVS brand and they have less selection than Sav-On had. CVS near me no longer carries Pierrier water, Toms toothpaste or Treseme shampoo. They don't even sell Future floor wax anymore. They cut the selection of magazines in half. Tonight I went down the street to Rite Aid to purchase my products. Sometimes I even go to Longs Drugs. What is going on with CVS? Some angry Sav-On customers feel that CVS won't survive in Southern California. In 1991 CVS had stores in Southern California and shut them down due to unprofitability.

THank you the one at Horizon ridge in Henderson, Nevada is staffed with some of the most stupid people in the US> They cannot make change. You stand on endless lines.

I actually refuse to shop in this store any more. I read the ads for discounted items, but dread the stupidity of the store so sacrafice on the savings and go elsewhere.

I disagree. I work at a CVS right down the road from my apartment in Florida, and it's wonderful! I love my customers, I love all my coworkers, and my new boss is growing on me rather quickly. At my store we have Perrier Water, Tresemme, and Tom's toothpaste...I don't know why yours doesn't. However, every store has a different selection of products (ours doesn't carry beer, for example, because we're right by a school and it's forbidden).

My coworkers are extremely helpful to our customers, though some of them have an attitude sometimes. But yeah--I don't know what's wrong with your CVS, but most of the CVSs in my town are wonderful!

I'm sorry that you're missing out on CVS's potential.

I agree completely - And I work there!...but not for too much longer. No one ever knows what they're doing and everyone hates each other deep down, nothing ever gets done right if it ever gets done, and none of the other employees care about the customers.
